Hôtel Escad (Alt+) Quartier DIX30 located in the suburbs of Montreal in the city of Brossard was beautiful. They have been working on a metro line that will take you from Brossard to Montreal. There have been delays which I assume are somewhat caused by covid and so at the time of this writing (Sept 2022) the line has not opened yet. Driving it appears to be about a 20 minute drive to Montreal; however with traffic it can be 30 or 40 minutes. There were plenty of shops around the hotel. I actually felt like I was in America with Walmart, Marshalls, Dairy Queen, etc. There is however a very nice mall across the street from the hotel. The hotel and mall share a parking garage. Yes, the parking garage is across the street but there is an underground tunnel that brings you right into the lobby of the hotel so on those cold or rainy days you don’t have to go outside.
The lobby is beautiful and the rooms are gorgeous and modern. My room was sparkling clean, the shower felt amazing, and the robe was comfortable and snugly against my bare skin. The bed felt like a pillow and though there’s better espresso out there than a Nespresso, to be able to have it right in room, not have wait for it, put in too much effort to make it, or go anywhere, it was a nice relaxing way to start the morning.

The view may leave something to be desired but with everything else being impeccable and with how much time I actually spend awake in a hotel room I don’t mind.

Television in Montreal is wild some stations are in French some stations are in English but it’s not like all of the French stations are say 1 through 10 and the English stations are 11 through 20 they’re all mixed and jumbled together. And might I add there was nothing on TV in French or English that looked appealing to watch that evening.
I would absolutely stay at this hotel again and hopefully by then the metro to Montreal will be finished and running.
