Exploring BTS and Must-See Spots in Seoul

When we got back to Seoul for take two, we faced a packed schedule. We had to cram in a lot because we lost those first couple of days when he was sick. In the end, we had to cut a lot out. Still, we hit a lot of the big ones.

We visited the King Sejong ones and the BTS ones. It was Festa, after all!

Our apartment was in Jongno. I thought I was going to die. I couldn’t figure out the AC as everything was in Korean. I am thankful that I put it out in the OKA chat. I was capable of getting answers within a couple of hours.

Jogyesa Temple was around the corner. We could easily walk to Gyeongbokgung Palace, Cheonggyecheon Stream, Gwanghwamun Square, Insadong, and Ikseon-dong. It took us only minutes. We could walk to Seoul Plaza and Myeongdong. The kiddo wasn’t up for it because it was further. But it would still be under 20 minutes.

We did visit Eunpyeong Hanok Village for our “Hanok stop.” The others were so close and we’d just walk through them daily.

On our first full day back, we met up with a friend of mine. I met her on my first trip back to Korea. She is also BTS ARMY. Throughout the week with the kiddo, we hit up JHope’s show. We also visited Cafe Far Ben and Festa with her.

She also came along for Ramyun Library and The Banpo Bridge Light Show.

And I was able of taking them both to one of my favorite cafes, Coconut Box!

Other BTS stuff the kiddo and I did included Hyuga, Yoojung Sikdang, Hybe, Yongma Land, and even Kid Zania!

Festa was a bummer. The wait was hours long just to get into the building then more lines inside. So we decided not to wait in it and left. We watched the concert online at Marcey’s hotel that night though.

We went to quite a few internet-famous cafes. We visited COEX Aquarium. We took photos in Hanbok at the palace. We visited the Blue House and the King Sejong museum.

He had fun at Super Wings kids cafe. He enjoyed Lotte World Adventure. We even squeezed in a visit to Namsan Tower.

It was quite a packed trip. We had cake for breakfast and lunch. By the end of the night, the kiddo would usually be too tired to go out. That meant a convenience store visit was in order.

By my last day with him, the heat was starting to get unbearable. The kiddo got really cranky walking around that day. Unfortunately for him, though, there was a ton of traffic due to closed roads for several events. There was a veterans event, a religious event, and the pride parade. So, walking was our best bet. Especially since everything we were trying to do was an under 10 minute walk.
